Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit npmd.com or use NPMD services.
1. Introduction
Last updated: July 15, 2026
NPMD Clinic ("NPMD", "we", "us", or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website at npmd.com, request appointments, or communicate with our team.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
- Appointment details, treatment interests, and submitted form messages.
- Billing and transaction information through secure payment partners.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, referral source, and pages visited.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve our services, including to:
- Schedule and manage consultations and appointments.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Send service updates, reminders, and marketing communications where permitted.
- Improve website performance, content, and user experience.
- Comply with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us run our operations, such as scheduling, analytics, email, payment, and hosting partners. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
5. Cookies and Analytics
Essential storage supports security, forms, navigation, and saving your privacy choice. Optional analytics is off until you allow it. If allowed, NPMD uses an internal analytics system to measure visits, pages viewed, referral and campaign information, visit duration, and interactions such as appointment or phone actions. We also load Microsoft Clarity for interaction analytics and session-replay-style measurement. You can allow, reject, or later withdraw optional analytics through the Privacy settings control shown on the website. We conservatively keep optional analytics off when the browser sends a supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
6. Data Security and Retention
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk and limit access to authorized personnel. We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods can vary by data type and service provider.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information, and you may opt out of marketing emails at any time. California residents may have additional rights under applicable law.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at care@npmd.com or call (818) 533-8393.
8. Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party websites or platforms. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before sharing personal information.

Website Analytics and Privacy Choices
Optional analytics is disabled until you allow it through the website privacy control. If allowed, NPMD's internal analytics records a browser-generated visitor identifier, pages and URLs visited, referral and campaign parameters, interaction events, and approximate visit duration. Microsoft Clarity may also receive technical and interaction data for analytics and session-replay-style measurement. Analytics is not required to browse the website. Use the Privacy settings button at any time to withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops new optional analytics from this browser and clears NPMD's first-party analytics identifiers where technically possible. Third-party data already collected remains subject to that provider's terms and applicable request processes.
AI Facial Analysis Photos
The AI Facial Analysis feature is optional and limited to adults who affirmatively consent. When you select Analyze Photo, the website sends the uploaded facial image to an external AI processor configured by NPMD, using OpenAI or another OpenAI-compatible service, to generate an educational review of visible facial and skin features and possible discussion topics. The local preview and preview-blur control operate in your browser; preview blur does not change or obscure the image sent for analysis.
The current feature does not provide a verified provider-specific promise of zero retention, immediate deletion, or exclusion from model training. Handling after transmission depends on the processor and account configuration in effect at that time. Do not upload a photo unless you are comfortable with this processing. Contact NPMD before using the feature if you want the current processor details, or contact us afterward to ask about an eligible access or deletion request. The result is educational, is not a diagnosis, and does not replace a clinical examination.
Sensitive and Medical Information
Do not use general website forms or analytics features for emergencies. The presence of safeguards on this website does not by itself mean every website vendor, analytics service, or AI processor is acting as a HIPAA business associate. If you need to communicate protected health information or request records, contact NPMD to confirm the appropriate channel.
